I cant think of a title for this one....
It's funny that i should be repeating myself on my blog, writing about the same subject in a short span of time. But as Joseph Heller once said, oh well, what the hell?
This time its the Jehovah's Witnesses. Now you can imagine my utter consternation when one such fanatic ends up putting a leaflet in my letterbox, inviting me to a "Talk on the Kingdom of God", at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Grenoble. To add to it, he wrote down his phone number and email id on the back, and expects me to call him ! I have a good mind to call him. To ask him how he got into my building !
Well, on the more serious note. I'm beginning to wonder more and more about where we (yes, we, all humans) are really headed. First i encounter some Mormons in a tram and then some complete fanatic cult member lands up at my place saying i'm going to burn in hell if i dont join his little club. Elsewhere in the world, more and more people are getting more and more intolerant towards each other, and calling each other "infidels".
I wonder when all this is going to end. But i guess the real question is, how is it all going to end ?

Jehovah's Witnesses don't support violence or intolerance. We also don't believe in eternal torment.
Any Q's just email me. Remember also, you put this out for anyone to find so I hope don't get upset about me replying to your post.

I'm more than glad to get your point of view, and yes, my blog is out there for anyone to find.
What doesn't go down well with me is that certain (read "most") faiths impose, or try to impose their faith on others, saying it is the "right path". I dont support violence either. I try my best to not be intolerant. Nor do i believe in eternal torment. Do i have to be a Jehovah's Witness for this? Do i need to belong to a faith? Because frankly, i consider myself to belong to a faith called humanity. Period !

People think JW's are trying to 'impose' their faith ,I can see why. However, we only come by and ask that you listen to us. you say 'no' and we leave. Most other religions, unlike JW's, try to legislate their views. We completely avoid politics to the point of not even voting in elections. I admire your morality and hope you can appreciate mine.
@mattharris
